CENTRALIZED

CryptoArb provides a centralized arbitraging technique that allows users to take advantage of any arbitrage available between crypto currencies and US Dollar. It allows arbitraging between two or more cryptocurrencies and legal tenders concurrently. Whichever arbitraging path has the best marginal profit, CryptoArb will be sure to show them to you first.

DECENTRALIZED

The decentralized arbitraging technique included in the system allows the user to explore and take advantage of peer to peer arbitraging opportunity. The system calculates possible arbitraging path (including transaction fees) along with their marginal profit. Although the user makes the final buy and sell decision, the system computes all opportunities for them in real-time.

BUY AND SELL

A buy and sell platform designed with modern user interface and user experience techniques, allows the user to conveniently purchase and/or sell cryptocurrencies in an arbitraging process. Not only does CryptoArb provides you the opportunity, it also provides you the medium. A really easy medium. Easy as one click away.

MEET CryptoArb

GOALS AND MOTIVATION

This project was envisioned by Dr. Parenteau to investigate and implement Cryptocurrency Arbitrage Solution. Arbitrage is the process of purchasing cryptocurrencies on a platform, and selling them on another where the price is relatively higher, in turn making a profit. To ensure a successful Arbitrage, our solution will have to connect with various market platforms via corresponding APIs in near real time, download currency rates, store relevant data in cache for rapid access, compare against each other, and output the best solution for the user with the expected profit margin.

VISION

Intelligence. Our Arbitrage implementation is seamless, providing its user with accurate, complete arbitration. We envision CryptoArb to do nothing short of seek out income. From query to sell execution, our solution is a must have tool for your cryptocurrency wallet.

TECHNOLOGY

Crypto Arb will be built with Django. Django is a free and open-source web framework, written in Python, which follows the model-view-template architectural pattern. Django provides a simple and easy front-end integration through Django templates. Our implementation will examine BitCoin (BTC), LiteCoin (LTC), Ethereum (ETH), and Ripple (XRP) not only for direct sales opportunities, but for capitalization between each other, meaning sell 1 ETH -> 0.077 BTC -> 4.46 LTC, making profit in the exchanges.

Emily Subocz

Emily is a senior majoring in Computer Science. She is interested in parallel computing, complex systems, and robotics. Data processing, systems analysis & development are her major focuses in CryptoArb. In her down time, she enjoys going to theme parks and watching Netflix.

Eric Larochelle

Eric is a Senior Majoring in Computer Science. Working full-time at Limelight Networks, he is interested in global networking and cloud services.  In the nonexistent free time, he enjoys fishing, scuba diving, and firearm training.

Liandra Bennett

Liandra, senior Software Engineering major, has interests in the fields of security, quality assurance and artificial intelligence. She focuses on front end  delevopment, data analysis and UI design for the CryptoArb project. In her free time, she is a personal trainer and a life coach.

Ogbonnaya C. Ngwu

As a senior in Software 

Engineering, Ogbonnaya is interested in Complex Systems, Artificial Intelligence, and Distributed Control Systems (DCS). Software testing, frontend integration, and requirements engineering are his major focuses in CryptoArb. Hobbies: 

programming and light reading.
